Mulmur Mayor Janet Horner to accompany the Executive Team and Board for tree planting ceremony to celebrate local launch

MANSFIELD, ON, October 20, 2020 – Mansfield Ski Club, one of the Greater Toronto Area’s leading private ski clubs is pleased to announce the launch of it’s wholly owned subsidiary Mansfield Property Management (MPM). Designed to provide outdoor enthusiasts with unique on-property residences at Mansfield Ski Club, MPM will be celebrating its launch with an inaugural tree planting ceremony on property on October 20, 2020.

With demand for four-season accommodation in the Mulmur area skyrocketing, Mansfield Ski Club has launched its Property Management arm to support the needs of its skier base as well as attracting new members with new state-of-the-art accommodation at the foot of the hill.  As part of a five-year journey, this new division is designed as part of the Club’s Master Plan that will see the organization continue to invest in its ski operations.

Phase One of MPM’s long-term real estate goals will be a series of 12 stacked townhomes that will be firstly offered to members on a first-come, first-served basis. Designed to fit within its natural surroundings with sustainability top of mind, the new townhomes will offer two-bedroom, chalet-style suites at prices ranging from the mid to high $400,000s.

“We are delighted to be announcing the launch of Mansfield Property Management and provide our members with what they have been asking for – onsite accommodation to enhance their ski experience and allow them to spend more meaningful time at the Club and the greater Mulmur area,” stated Rob Walkowiak, President, Mansfield Ski Club and Mansfield Property Management Board Member. “Members look forward to their time on the hill, but likewise, taking part in the family-friendly après ski activities that are offered as part of our experience. These new residences will enable them to spend more time with friends and the ability to explore the area outside of the ski club.”

With construction scheduled to commence in spring 2021 for occupancy in November 2021, the townhomes will be offered as a life-lease and range from 807 sf to 926 sf, will occupy a 5,000 square-foot footprint. All net proceeds from the development will be re-invested in MSC infrastructure to benefit existing and future members.

“Climate change is impacting the ski business and our need to continually reinvest in our technology and infrastructure is paramount,” stated Chris Salhany, GM, Mansfield Ski Club.  “MPM will allow the Club to better manage the headwinds we face from Mother Nature thereby providing one of the best ski experiences in the region.”

Mansfield Property Management will also be offering landscaping maintenance and snow removal services to local residents in close proximity to the Club.
