CHRISTMAS CAMP PRESCHOOL SNOW SLIDERS:

Pricing: $255.00

Ages: 2-3 years old

Program Ability Levels: New Skiers

Timing: 3-Day Christmas Camp: Sun Dec 28th-Tues Dec 30th 2025 = 9:45–11:45 AM OR 1:00-3:00 PM; 

This camp is an intro to skiing for our youngest skiers. Preschool Sliders will spend up to 1-hour getting comfortable on skis with one of our pros one on one. Sliders are to be dropped off ready to ski in the beginner area (near the Magic Carpet).

Their instructors will then take them to enjoy some playtime in our Kid Zone daycare following their lesson. Parents are to collect their sliders from Kids Zone at the end of program time, or can request additional time for your little one in daycare. Sliders should have a backpack with a change of clothes, snack and water bottle for their time in the Kids Zone.

CHRISTMAS CAMP:

This three-day camp is a great way to kick start your season and shake off the summer dust! Three full days of on-snow instruction will have you ready for the winter.


MARCH BREAK SKI CAMP:

Timing: 5-day March Break Camp: Mon Mar 16th-Fri Mar 20th 2026 = 9:30–11:30 AM AND 12:30-2:30 PM

This five-day camp is a great way to cap off your season in the sunshine! Come play in the soft snow with our pros.

Program Ability Levels: New to skiing

Come get your little one skiing in a positive, constructive and safe environment. The focus of this program is to develop independence on Awesome and Chalet and give you tips to ski with your Tot safely. One parent or guardian must participate with their child in the program and may wear either regular winter footwear, snowboard boots or ski boots.

Instructor Prep is all about preparing for your Level 1 CSIA certification course. This course will touch on personal skiing, familiarization with course content including literature and demonstrations.


ASSISTANT PRO = VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:

Ages: 13-14 years old

Timing: Saturdays AND/OR Sundays

Program Ability Levels:  Intermediate, Advanced

As an Assistant Pro, you will help our certified instructors during their programs to help develop student skills in a safe and fun environment. Through this opportunity you will gain valuable knowledge, contribute to lessons and learn about responsibility. Assistant Pros that provide MSC with a commitment of 60-hours throughout the season will be reimbursed 50% of their Level 1 CSIA upon successful completion.

SUN PEAKS CAMP:

Timing: Thurs Dec 4th-Thurs Dec 13th 2025

Offered to U12 and up, Mansfield is traveling to the west for our first block of pre-season training this year. Development and skill based training and conditioning. Parents must attend U12 and younger. Contact [email protected] to register.


MSLM CAMP:

Pricing: $460

Timing: Thurs Dec 11th-Dec 14 2025

Offered to U10 and up, a shorter, non-travel preseason training camp at Mount St Louis. Development and skill based training.
These are full camp days beginning with dryland warm up, followed by on snow training, video review, cool down and debrief.


PREXMAS CAMP:

Pricing: $280.00

Ages: Ages 10 & Up

An opportunity to get back on snow and dust off the summer rust.

CHRISTMAS RACE CAMP:

MARCH BREAK CAMP

Optional 4 to 8 days train and racing during the March Break. Specific age group training and racing days subject to race schedules, between Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 22nd 2026.

FRI TRAINING & ADDITIONAL COACHING DAYS

Traditionally Fridays have been offered as an extra training day to those programs that are considered weekend programs. This season we will continue to offer Fridays. These sessions are high volume and high intensity and generally involve gate training or specific environment training. Participants must register by the Tuesday prior to guarantee a spot and ensure adequate coaching ratios.

**These optional training days, open to all racers ages U10 and up, are an excellent opportunity to supplement weekend training.**

TRAINING SQUAD:

Training Squad is a day and a half per weekend program where FUNdamental skills of skiing development are introduced. The weekends are filled with ski related activities, games, gate environments. The goal is to encourage little ones to develop a love for winter outdoors and the sport of alpine skiing.

INTRO TO FREESTYLE/RACE:

Intro Combo is a one day per weekend ski program designed to provide competent young skiers with an introduction to both Freestyle and Race fundamentals. Participants will focus on race skills and environments each morning and freestyle skills and environments each afternoon. The goal is to develop a love of skiing and let their interests emerge.

The Intro Combo Team will participate in both the race and freestyle division of the MSC Club Champs events on Saturday March 7th.

Participants will be given then option of selecting either the Freestyle team garment OR the Race team garment at the time of their registration.

Participants should be intermediate level skiers, meaning they must be
able to ski in control (stop & turn) on Green and Blue runs.

NEED FOR SPEED:

Pricing: EARLY BIRD until Oct 10 = $1,195.00; REGULAR = $1,435.00

*A hard-ear race helmet required.

Need For Speed is a one-day per weekend program. It is intended to give youth skiers exposure to racing, while continuing to develop their technical free skiing skills. Technical free skiing and drills will be complemented with gate training sessions. Athletes will take part in the Need For Speed home race series.

Participants should be novice+ level skiers, meaning they must be
able to ski in control (stop & turn) on Green and Blue runs, and be able to ride all lifts without assistance.

**Please Note: if a participant is unable to “keep up” we will make arrangements to transfer them to appropriate instructional programs.**

U8 RACING:

Ages: 6-7 Years Old

U8 is the entry level race program at MSC. It is essential for kids at this age to develop the FUNdamental skiing skills. The focus of the program is outdoor winter fun activities, introduction of skill and drill development, team membership in a non-competitive environment, and an introduction to ski racing. This is an at-home program with no travel required to other clubs.

Participants must be able to ride chair lifts, with coach/adult assistance, and be able to ski in control on Green and Blue runs.

U10 RACING:

Ages: 8-9 Years Old

The U10 program continues the fundamental skill development with more focus on refining skills and drills. A continued education on ski racing, more specific training environments and an introduction to skiing competition are offered. Athletes are encouraged to participate in Friday training as available and they will participate in 2 interclub races with the option of invitationals.

There could be some but limited travel to other SOD Clubs for races.

U12 RACING:

U12 EXTENDED:

The emphasis is to qualify for and compete in Provincial Championships.

1-DAY FREESTYLE ALL TERRAIN – SATURDAYS (Ski or Snowboard):

Program Ability Levels: Intermediate, Advanced

With less emphasis on competition, and more on using the entire hill as your playground the All Terrain program offers a little more relaxed atmosphere while still being part of the freestyle family and vibe. Open to riders and skiers this program will focus on using on hill features – small bumps, jumps and flats to put trick combos together, improve riding and skiing, and most importantly have fun.  This group will spend about half the time in the park and halve the time on other terrain.

2-Day Freestyle is for the risk takers and the magic makers. This is our competitive group of Freestyle athletes. You have mastered many tricks,
are engaged in learning new tricks for competition and are feisty about
airtime.

We will attend the 3 event Groms series at other clubs on 3 Sundays through the winter.

Adults are invited to join into our regular Friday race training. These sessions are high volume and high intensity and generally involve gate training or specific environment training. Participants must register by the Tuesday prior.

Ability: Advanced skiers

Take part in our Friday program with one of Canada`s most accomplished Level 4 Ski Instructors – our very own Snow School Director, Peter Celil. You will receive 4 hours of skiing and instruction each day in a small group. Each participant will receive extensive individual feedback and personalized support. Pete is passionate about his craft and particularly about helping others to achieve their own success. Each week we will build upon the last, in a way that is meaningful for every participant. We will establish goals together and create technical priorities to help you get where you want to be. Along the way, we will include video with analysis, unpacking the techniques of skiing, and learning how to train for success.

The Adult Race Program will offer two participation streams:

  • Performance Skiing
  • Event Specific Gate Training

By providing 2 mediums each session it allows engagement for all levels of skiing to improve and learn new skills in a fun, interactive environment.

4 Race Series

$500.00 per team of 4 or $125.00 per individual racer

This is our Adult/Teen Race series that takes place every other Sunday afternoon plus 1 Saturday. Open to members of all abilities – the more the merrier!

The GDHL race series will run with a team format this year (as well as individual scoring), but not every racer need score in each event.
