The privacy of our Members is important to Mansfield Ski Club (“MSC”, “we”, “us”, “our” or the “Club“). The Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) requires MSC to have a policy in respect of personal information for commercial clients. We collect information about our Members, guests and commercial customers in connection with the services that we provide and we also collect information from employees and from potential employees in connection with our hiring practices.
MSC is responsible for personal information under its control and has designated the General Manager as the Chief Privacy Officer to be accountable for compliance with this Policy. The Privacy Officer’s contact information can be found at the end of this Policy.

We retain the personal information that we collect for so long as such information is useful or may be required. As part of the process of admitting members we collect the following information: names and birthdates of the Senior Member, Associate and Dependants; contact information including home, business and seasonal home telephone numbers, email addresses; cell phone numbers; home addresses; occupation; voluntary disclosure of medical information (for programs only); and payment information.

As part of the process of visiting Mansfield Ski Club as a guest or contractor we collect the following information: names and birthdates of the contractor and all guests; contact information including home telephone numbers, email addresses; cell phone numbers; and home addresses. Some additional information may be collected for additional services; Kidz Zone collects and retains the above personal information as well as additional medical information as needed; for guests and contractors using rental services for equipment the above personal information is collected as well as height, weight, shoe size for insurance and safety purposes. Contractors visiting the club may be asked to provide proof of insurance, business information including telephone numbers, email addresses; cell phone numbers; and business addresses.

After a person is hired we collect bank accounts, social insurance numbers, as well as information regarding performance and in addition we obtain copies of driver’s licenses for anyone who will be driving a motor vehicle.
Personal information does not include the business contact information of our employees such as the Club’s business telephone, mobile phone and email addresses of our employees, nor does it include the name and business title of the Club’s employees.
Sometimes, individuals or organizations may ask for information about our existing or former employees. Typically we do not disclose personal information about our employees or former employees unless specifically directed to do so by the employee or if we are compelled by law or a court order.
Like most website operators, Mansfield Ski Club collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally-identifying information is to better understand how MSC visitors use this website. From time to time, MSC may release non-personally-identifying information by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
